Hi, my name is Brooke.
I'm
8 years old and have one little sister and one little brother.
Being 8 is great but is kind of frustrating cause you feel like you need to be more responsible.
I go to
Dilley Elementary and I'm in the 3rd grade. My teacher is Mr. Frame.
He is really funny and fun and teaches math really good.
I like math and I like writing. I kind-of know how to type.
My
funnest thing to do is having sleep-overs. My last birthday party was a slumber party
and I invited 5 friends and we played games in the dark and one of them was capture the flag.

I play
Suzuki piano.
The songs I know how to play right now are Minuette, Minuette I, Minuette II, Minuette III, Cradle Song, and Happy Farmer.
I've been taking lessons for 2 years. My teacher is Jill Austin.
Everyday I practice for 30 minutes. I usually have recitals at the beginning, at the middle, and at the end of the year.
I like playing
sports. It makes me feel energized cause you get exercise and can run outside.
My favorite position in
soccer is forward. You get to go all the way throughout the field.
Last year I scored two goals in one game.
This last year I played
softball and my teacher came and watched a few games. That's why I liked that year.
I used to be really good at
gymnastics when I was 5 but I haven't done it as much.
I'm working on cart-wheels and hand-stands. I can do bridges but not the ones where
you kick over.
I've taken
swimming lessons and I'm in level 5. Last year my teacher was Tom and there were only two people in my swim lessons.
I'm just starting for
basketball and just tried out this morning. There's a few people that I know and I want to be on their team.
I like
tetherball and I used to be really good at it in 1st and 2nd grade. I have one in my backyard that I got for my birthday. I can't play
in the winter cause it's usually raining and that isn't fun to play tetherball.
