If you've perused this site you're probably already familiar with
me and my little family. We're just like you (except maybe my kids
are a little cuter than yours) -- just regular Joes.
As a dad I don't
have all the answers but I have found great promise and strength through
the sound principles of the Church of Jesus Christ, both for myself and for
raising my family. I believe you only go around once, so someitme during
that round you should figure out why you're going around at all. In a busy,
often hectic, sometimes discouraging, but mostly good life, I have come to recognize,
in the quiet moments, the hand of God in my life and a sense of his divine
influence.
I invite you to come and take a chance to discover the joy
of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.
(Thanks for stoppin' by)
I am a currently a lucky wife and mother of three wonderful kids. My life is filled with
many routines. I have to admit many of my tasks are quite mundane. But I LIVE for
my favorite ones! Here's a few of "my favorite things" - jogging with Bob, playing choo choo
with my son, eating and talking with my daughter at lunch, and reading big long books with my
oldest and giving her a big hug! I have found if I hold onto and search for the good part of
life I have many more of these moments. I have also come to realize that amidst my personal trials
and struggles, there is a compass to guide me and provide me with the peace I need. This compass
is the gospel of Jesus Christ. I truly believe that Jesus Christ is real and that he made the
ultimate sacrifice for us, His friends. And through His sacrifice, we can have hope in our daily lives
and in the life to come!
I'm Brooke and I love church.
Going to church is like practicing soccer. If you want to get really good then you have
to practice a little bit a day but you always got to
practice and you'll get really good at soccer.
That's the same with Heavenly Father. If you go to church evey week
and be righteous it helps get you a big consequence: eternal life with God.
I'm Jessie.
You should come to church cause it learns you about Jesus and it makes you be with Jesus when you
die. Jesus said, when we were in heaven before we were born we were grown-ups but we were only spirits -- we
didn't have bodies yet, and he told us that when you die you'll come back to heaven.
You should go to church cause then you can learn more like what is good. If you go to
church you get to live with Jesus.
