Hotel Tropicana. Not supreme, not stinky. Just the right mix: lame continental breakfast, swimming pool, right across the street.

Shamoo was really cool.
In the end some of the best times were had in simple pleasures:
chasing the birds around the bleachers, getting a treat, or everyone getting one snuggly stuffed animal to keep.

Beach (Day 4)
The day at the beach was typical Oregon weather: overcast, breezy, and chilly.
We did see a small group of porpoises pass by not too far offshore (below).
